Class Goals
There are five general goals for students in this course:
Develop and articulate a personal philosophy of education.
Identify and analyze trends in American Education
Apply the basic principles of the humanistic movement in education.
Develop and assess a case study relative to comprehensive classroom management.
Apply basic research findings related to classroom management.

The Florida Educator Accomplished Practices provide valuable guidance to educators and educator preparation programs throughout our state. By defining our state's standard for accomplished practices we communicate to teachers, principals and parents our vision and our standard for effective educational instruction here in Florida. It's been an honor to work alongside some of the best and brightest educators our state has to offer to review this critical framework. In additin, hundreds of educators and stakeholders throughout the state provided constructive feedback through various public comment opportunities, allowing us to further refine Florida's new Educator Accomplished Practices. On behalf of the Department, we thank each and every one of you for participating in our process as we work to improve educational practice in the sunshine state.
